About chatAssess

chatAssess measures behavior, personality and abilities in client-specific job-related scenarios using mobile, interactive technology that simulates chat applications.

The participant receives messages from various people and chooses to respond to these with one of several response options. Based on the participant's responses, different types of follow-up questions and threads will appear on the screen.

The test simulates chat programs such as Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger to make the task more realistic than traditional situational judgement questionnaires (SJQs).

Typically, SJQs are used early in the recruitment process for mid-level and higher job roles. The test can be completed on smartphones and tablets as the test uses mobile technology, and it can be adapted to the organisation's needs.
