The competency scores in the recruitment report for ADEPT-15 will be updated on October 29. Here's some info on what this means for you.
What does the update mean?
As of October 30, competency scores in the Recruitment Report will be calculated in a slightly simpler way compared to before. This change is made in the job analysis tool snap-it.
What will be the difference?
There won't be a big difference, but the competence scores will be slightly more normally distributed with fewer extreme points.
Why update?
It will be easier to understand the calculation, which simplifies the interpretation of reports. It also enables the development of new products.
How does this affect snap-it profiles created before October 29?
Job analyses created before October 29 are not affected. Only new snap-it profiles will get the new metric.
Can I update existing requirement profiles?
You can easily do this by copying an existing snap-it and the copy will be created with the new metric. In the overview of snap-its, it is clear which profiles have new and old metrics.
Should I update?
Our general recommendation is to update old snap-it profiles. It is also possible to continue with the old ones without updating. If the new metric is needed for a future product, we will inform you about it.
