This week an update of the project setup in MapTQ was completed. Some changes have now been implemented when you set up a new project in the platform.
Here is a brief introduction to the updates that have been made and what these changes mean for you as a user:
1- New fields under Project info
Under project info, two new fields have appeared: Project owner and Participant journey.
As a general rule, you can leave them on the default setting: The person who creates the project is listed as the project owner and the participant journey is set to AAP Participant Journey (the alternative is mapTQ Task Hub). (See image below for how it looks in mapTQ)
Note; The last administrator to edit the project is automatically listed as the project owner. This has nothing to do with practical use, but can naturally look strange for internal use.
2- New main selection for Project settings
Previously, most administrators used a open login ID as the login method for candidates to different projects.
This has now been replaced with Open Administration with Authentication (the alternative is to use controlled administration) (See image below to see how it looks in mapTQ)
For you as an administrator, it works the same as before by generating a login ID that can be shared with relevant candidates. For the candidates, however, this new login method means that they will receive a verification link by email after registering as a candidate in the project. They will also receive their unique login ID by email after registration.
3- Possibility of predefined emails to candidates during the process
It is now possible to add predefined emails that are sent to candidates during the process.
For example, you can remind all candidates who have remaining tests to complete them by a given deadline. If you would like to use this for one or more projects, please contact your KAM or our support department. We can set this up for you.
